The manifold you want is sort of a double loop looking thing. It has two baffles that switch exhaust routing through the loop for running on kerosene or gasoline and are marked that way. One of the baffles is rectangular and is at the top with two nuts. The other one is round and is at the bottom where the two loops come together and it is round with one nut. The intake is cast in with the exhaust as one large unit. If you can get one from North Dakota, Montana, Saskachewan, or some nice dry wheat growing climate as it will be in better shape than one from back east. Most of the later production were sold in those areas since the row crop Farmall tricycle type was the most popular in the midwest and further east. One with a good elbow on the bottom may be tough but some one makes the elbows new I think. As far as how many types did IH make?, 3 total. One from 23-26 with two exhaust outlets out the hood side,one from 27-28 where the outlet goes through the rear firewall into a little muffler deal and out the side, and the 29 up style which exits at the rear corner of the hood side. There was also some rare options with the exhaust that went straight up in the air with a spark arrestor deal but that attached on the oulet elbow.
