Tim, All you have to do is beat the scrap mans offer! I will bet she was goig to take the scrap offer till you got involved, Show up at her house with 3, $100 dollar bills and you will own it. OBTW... have 2 or 3 more in various pocket just in case she get greedy. I bought a non-runnning SM, Stage I LP the other day, for $350! Best I can tell all it needs is LP in the tank, and a Batt and it is off to the races we go. Always start really insultingly low. If the owner gets mad, then they willget glad as you work you way up in price to a point that is agreeable to both of you., Or you can stop if you get spooked for what ever reason, Good hunting!
