well, I took it off, and i found out that 2 of the pins that hold in a valve and spring have quite a bit of wear to them, everything else looked pretty good. I was wondering what the best way to check spring tension is. Also when i got the MCV off I was checking the slap of some of the gears in the case, and one of them has like a one-way clutch on it, and it clicked one click when i moved it a little...and it wouldn't go back. Wondering if i messed something up doing that. I was also wondering what the best way to check the pump out would be without putting everything back into the tractor......dont really want to do all this again if the pump is going bad.
