Just thought I would run this one by you guys. Looks basic enough but I been a little nervous since the fire. So, speaking about the switch, there is a short wire that runs off one side of the ammeter (matter which side?) to the fuse post. Needs a 20 amp automotive fuse. Then there is a post that the rear light hooks on to. So far so good. There are two posts with a loopy bit of wire betwixt them that the manual calls a "dimmer resistance" and the top post is where I hooks on the front lights. Is that loopy thing likely to have gone south on me or should it be OK? Switch looks good. Last, and mostly the confusing part, is a post where I am s'posed to hook on the genny. This thing is labeled "field circuit resistance" and would be real simple except I got no genny. This is a 12v conversion with an alternator and all that I been redoing and I am not sure what if anything hooks onto this field circuit resistance post. Anyone got a light schematic for a 12 volt conversion? Don't seem to have one in my archives. Any help at all much appreciated. Thanks guys!
