Like the others, I would recommend buying a gas tractor and leave the LP setup intact on the one you have. People who don't understand the benefits of LP seem to be the ones who want to convert them:

More power due to higher compression
More rare/valuable to collectors
No flooding (fuel enters carb as vapor)
No washing of oil in cylinders
No oil contamination
Indefinite shelf life of fuel
LP is cheaper per gallon than gasoline

My entire collection of (5) tractors of various colors are factory propane. Yes, the tank is less asthetically pleasing, but whatever it's pulling doesn't care.
