Mike: I doubt if your whole problem is sand blasting. Those 30-50 series tractors had the most poorly stamped serial tags known to man. I doubt if I can read my 130 number any more.
That engine number 58727 in my opinion is within 130 production. I know the stats book is saying 58560 however, given the quality of record keeping at IH, close will count. Since 130 and 230 were sharing a common sequence of engine numbers and the stats are saying 230 7671 had engine 57745, and 130 was 10209 with engine 58560, and these numbers I have don't say those were the last of each tractor. It only states that a certain engine that went into a particular tractor. Remember the engine sequence did continue and the first 140-240s had engines in the 65000 range.
My 130 has 56651 engine and tractor serial 9313, 896 before the end according to stats. Your block part number is correct for a 130. Farmall 130 would not have had foot throttle, International should have foot throttle. Maybe someone has installed wrong decals. Does it have square axle?
