For the money, I would go with the one from the yard. Those little things the rusty one needs will nickel and dime you to death and might cost more than the yard one. I speak from experiance! Personally if it was mine, I would just use the single front and sit back until a good deal shows up on a regular narrow front with decent tires. Just be sure to grease the single front axle well. If it is like the one on my F-12 and I think it is, there is no bearing in there, just the hardened axle shaft and rides right on the cast iron wheel. It has a large contact area so they wear very little as long as they have grease.They are a pain to take apart as the wheel has to be unbolted and the tire has to come off so I wouldn"t do that, just grease it good.
