Did you check all the tie rod ends and other hardware that connects the front wheels to the steering gear? If there is lots of play, any imbalance or shake will be allowed to magnify uncontrolled. How much play is there in the steering gear/wheel? Also, are they the correct tire size? If they are a little short in the back, or tall in the front, it will throw the front to rear distribution off, possibly making the front end a little light and skitterish. Or hey, just sell it to me, I'm looking for another 140 to join the one I already use. gn
