JT is right on the money .... "The mag is easy, turn engine so it is on #1 cylinder, TDC on compression stroke, take cap off, make sure rotor is on #1 on cap, make a mark in mag there, take out, don't turn engine or mag, then put back the way it came off. It only goes back in right or 180 out". I say go for it! I did and it was easy.
