VERY CAREFULLY. Just kidding.I think you have what is called a universal(BOWDEN CABLE)which are easy to work with.Put thru the mounting hole,then put on lock washer and nut&continue in a(SANITARY MANNER)till you get to the final bracket.Then use a short nose diaginal pliers and spilt the outer casing so you can cutthe outer casing ONLY.If you have not done this before,practice on the end as Ithink it is too long as is.The inner cable is soft and can be easy to form as nessasary.
