I found Guy Fay's book about the letter series IH of great interest. Unfortunatly he seems to have only dealt in deatail with the tractors built in USofA and as a result missed several made in other countries. There were Farmalls made in France, Germany and England. M's were made here from 1949 until end of production. From 1952/53 the Super BMD was made at Doncaster. This was I believe the first pure Diesel being glow plug started as opposed to petrol(gas). The picture that just might accompany this is of a special production run to celebrate the coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth 2. The story is that 53 were produced and passed to selected dealers. But it would appear that other dealers then got a bit peeved and so more were made.but in practice no dealership obtained more than one. You believe what you wish about THAT aspect. The rest of the production was the normal Farmall Red. They are extremely sought after machines and go for big bucks. If I get this wrong and the pic does not arrive Sorry! MTF
