We have a 544 Farmall gas with a shuttle transmission (5 forward, 5 reverse, no TA), I assume you could also get a diesel w/shuttle. Very handy for loader work and the perfect size for many farm jobs.
There was also Farmall TA gas and diesel. And Farmall hydro gas and diesel.
Then all of those in a utility model as well.
The diesel is the better of the two engines in my opinion - the gas engine has no sleeves so has to be re-bored when overhauled and on ours the carburetor is very picky with adjustments.
The hydro unit should be similar if not exactly the same as the 656, Hydro 70, Hydro 86, etc.
