Hi Vito, I think sealing up the belly would be more trouble than it is worth. When I put live hyd. on I chose to use the transmission and rear end as a resivoir. That was over 30 years ago, after several thousand hours I still think it is by far the best. I draw from the drain plug in the rear, the first filter is a 1 inch pipe cross, use plastic plugs in the side holes they have a hollow center in which there is a cow magnet suspended. Then a suction strainer and also a 10 micron filter in the return line which goes to the oil check plug on the left side. There I put a street ell and then a tee, use the side hole with a plug as the oil check. This raises the oil level at least 2 inchs, with Hy-tran I now I have gotten longer bearing life and have no problem with a bearing turning in the casting like I had before. The pump I got from TSC for about 70 bucks still works like new. I did the WD9 the same way and it has worked very well too. Good luck, Chuck
