Thanks for the replies. Yes , I agree it is hard to believe the claim. I will stop in again and get the serial number off of the tractor and take some pictures to post on here. It would be a good project to bring back to life. I was going to stop in today, but I ran out of time. I have a 1954 Super MTA, serial - #67684 S - in excellent condition and I previously had a 1954 Super W6TA, which I sold to buy the SMTA. The W6 wasn't in good condition - Steering wore out, rear axle seals leaked, TA not working, tires shot, etc. I have always liked the W4 model, one is in a auction sale next Friday near me. Speaking of the John Deere silo unloader, I have one as well which is in good condition. I also have the tripod and winch. A friend found a NOS main auger and shield at a tractor parts/wrecking yard in NY State, probably came from a dealer closeout. Ken
