One bad thing is the engine doesn't have sleeves. This will require the block to be bored oversize unless it has been bored to the limit before. They used these tractors for mowing the firing ranges where I worked using large batwing rotary mowers. They were fitted with heavy armor plating to provide protection for the drivers. These were all gas 504's. Most of the engines needed to be bored so most of them were sent to property disposal and sold at auction.
