Well if you pull a bushogg with it, here is what will happen. You come to the end of the field, you shove in the foot clutch, and the tractor keeps going and runs into a tree and the back wheels keep spinning. The built up momentum from the bush hog will keep putting power to the drive train. That is the beauty of the hand clutch, it disconnects the drive train, and the engine can keep supplying power to the PTO. It is a necessity when pulling a baler or mowing with a sickle bar mower. I grew up on these things. I have the original owners manual and service instructions and parts list for this clutch if you need a copy. I also have the number of an outfit in Nebraska that makes new disks for this clutch. It takes three and they want $70 bucks each. Kinda pricey, but if you need them well, you need them.]
