I would use something else other than an M for snow removal. Hardly practical. I used a back blade on mine for a few years until I got a 32" snow blower. An M with a back blade is good for maybe 4-5". More than that and you have to make multiple passes. And once you've plowed the first time, when you get more snow it's hard to get the snow off the drive because it doesn't throw it like a snowplow on a pickup. And a front blade will require a lot of rear weight and chains, are you neighbors gonna want their driveways torn up by the chains? I like my snow blower much better, it gets the snow out of the way and I don't have big snow berms when we get multiple snowfall. If you absolutely need a tractor, then a compact 4x4 diesel is the only way to go. You can get snow plows for those I belive. Also a snowblade on a jeep or short bed pickup would be good. I just think the M will be a lot of work, especially with no power steering.
