I bought this Super C about a month or so ago. Is serial # FC186528DT which makes it a 1954, I believe. It’s got a strange front end on it and I’m wondering if there was such a thing is an industrial version. I’ve sandblasted a few of the parts that I’ve worked on so far and the original color seems to be yellow everywhere. Since then is been painted red and then orange. I probably will do it red just because! It has a grader blade underneath and a ripper that fits in the fasthitch. I suspect it probably was owned by some small municipality or some such. Thought it would be just the ticket to maintain my driveway. The engine was stuck but I’ve since got it freed up and rebuilt the carb, which was a disaster. Since I got it freed up I thought I might just try to get it started before the major overhaul. I currently have the head off just to look inside but it didn’t look as bad as I feared. I found new wheels & tires for the front so at least I can roll it around now. Any thoughts or ideas as to the front-end setup? Tim Wafer
