Sounds like its just plan and simple clogged up. One trick that works some times is pull the drain plug out of the bottom of the carb and then take out the main jet and spray carb cleaner into the ain jet. Spray at least one full can of it in and then see if that helps. If not then you will probable need to put a kit in the carb and most good kits will explain what is what in a carb
