In the early 80's I purchased a F-30 from my neighbor,who had bought it new. After using it that summer I decided to restore it that winter.The sides and bottom were a combination of years of oil and dust and hard as a rock. After trying several methods I tried oven cleaner, it semed to work well.Spring came and I gave it a coat of 2 part primer then a couple coats of Centari, turned out real well,About six months later I was cleaning it up with my cheap pressure washer and baseball size sheets of paint and primer lifted from the cast parts, I had the Dupont rep stop by to see why everything lifted. found out the oven cleaner was still leaching out of the cast.Last time I used oven cleaner,
