Thank you for posting this picture. I just bought one of these, and this is only the second picture I've seen of one restored. According to what I've been able to find, fewer than 600 were made. They are a special application adapted for use in shade tobacco farming. (Decision #131 IH Product Identification Committee, March 28, 1957) I found mine on Ebay in Michigan, where it had been used for log skidding and snow plowing. It has worked hard and is now getting some replacements for parts that show evidence of that history.
