A few weeks back there was a thread on the topic of 350 Hi_Utility tractors, I photoed this nice example at the Benton County Fair. (I also cooked pancakes for the 4-H lunch stand (always a nice time) JimN

Thank you for posting this picture. I just bought one of these, and this is only the second picture I've seen of one restored. According to what I've been able to find, fewer than 600 were made. They are a special application adapted for use in shade tobacco farming. (Decision #131 IH Product Identification Committee, March 28, 1957) I found mine on Ebay in Michigan, where it had been used for log skidding and snow plowing. It has worked hard and is now getting some replacements for parts that show evidence of that history.

Hi , I think a old timer I know has one of those . That's a nice tractor . He paid a kings ransom for it in restored condition , close to twenty thousand dollars . If it's the same ( I only saw it once - the day he brought it home a couple years ago ) I think he said only less than a hundred where built ? He offered to let me drive it but I declined . ...Randy

Hello JimN: That's a nice looking 350 Hi_Util. There has been a nice 350 Wheatland Special show up at the Atwater threshing show in the past. Good to see the tractors with low production restored. Thanks for posting the photo of the tractor... but how good were the pancakes? agpilot

Itis difficult to ruin Krustiez mix. The grill was tempered and running at the nice temperature allowing bubbles to form and break as the first side browned up, and the flip side was still moist enough to have the fluid fill most of the smaller holes as it came into intimate contact with the heated iron. MMMMM MMMMM. JimN

Krust-ez is by far the best pancake batter mix on the market IMHO . I think I'm gonna go make some now with some smoked bacon on the side - I'm out of sausage :"( . ...Randy
