Harry, it is basicly just like the 200. The biggest difference is the 230 doesn't have the touch control hydraulic box under the gas tank like the 200 or C/Super C does. It has what IH called the hydra-touch system. It should have the traction control fast hitch on it. I like the older set up better myself, but there is nothing wrong with the 230. Dad had one that he traded off to a new 484 in 1981 and I would love to find it and buy it back. It was a real little tractor. If it is a 58 it is one of the last ones made. I think there was only around 750 made that year.
