IH McCormick No. 46 Square Baler

I am working on an old square baler that has a broken/bent tube inside the hay stripper fingers. The spring teeth connect to the tubes inside the tumbler. Years ago, it started vibrating and "jumping" and somehow one of the tubes broke loose and bent. Looks like a broken weld on one end. The end piece on the outer end that holds the tube ends is bent inward some, but it looks like it can be straightened possibly or maybe the whole thing just replaced. Not sure what caused this to break loose. Maybe the weld just broke loose.

I would like to replace the tube or the whole tumbler piece, but can"t quite figure out how it comes apart. Looks like it may need to be released from the pivot on each end. There is a huge chain attached to a gear and spring on one end. Looks like that has to come off. I can get parts off another No. 46 square baler that is just like it out in the pasture--long ago abandoned.

Anyone ever work on one of these and know the best way to fix this? Does the whole tumbler piece need to come off. I started to remove the stripper fingers and then stopped because I was thinking about just taking the whole thing off at the pivot points. Thanks.
