I bet it is a bearing problem. The baler belongs to my neighbor who is 91. He said he always kept it well greased. He greases everything before he uses it. He said he didn"t realize there were bearings on the ends of the tubes. It doesn"t look like they can be greased. I will take a closer look at it. I kind of thought the entire thing had to first be removed to get access to the bent/broken piece. There are a lot of nuts that need to come off the fingers first. Kind of tricky to work on. Thanks.
