Very reassuring. Thank you Bob M! I've read your many posts on packing the housing with grease, and I think that's the way I'm going to go, especially after seeing the mess that gear oil made on dad's 400. We're going to use the old beer can trick to get the sector gear to sit solid on the shaft, but that fore-aft wobble as I twisted the steering shaft...
