Kirk, IH didn't even have a cab of their own design until about '72. Prior to that all IH cabs were manufactured by sublet outfits, as was the "diamond" cab that you are referring to. I think those diamonds were made by Excel and they were all aftermarket bolt-ons that could/could not have been installed by IH. If the cab has the IH logo or patch, it was installed at the factory. After 1972, IH offered 2 cab designs, the "deluxe" and the "custom", both of which were swept-backs and they stayed in service on all IH tractors with varying paint schemes up until the 86 series made it's debut in 1977.
