I have a little Farmall A that I have a mower on that I use around the farm. A guy came by and noticed the A and asked me if I do any trading. My tractor isn"t showy by any means and is just a basic farmer engineered jobby. Here is the kicker, the guy has an M with Charlynn power steering. U-shaped drawbar. He has primered and sandblasted the M. The problem is that the tractor was stuck from where it sat out without any muffler. He has the head off and 2 of the cylinders have the pistons stuck in them. I haven"t seen the tractor but supposedly it has newer fronts and the back tires are ok. It also has rear wheel weights. He told me he had already done the body work on the grille. What is the value of this tractor? He wanted to trade it for my A only. There is no equipment involved and no drawbar on this A. How should I trade if at all? Just looking for opinions.
