Too much idle time while on tractors pushing snow this week. Got an old H a while back for 200 bucks and have access to a Cont. diesel motor out of 350 I.H.Utility. The H motor is shot and the Diesel motor is supposed to be good. I realize I would need a front cover off rowcrop 350 but, would this motor bolt up in there without too much trouble. Now don't jump all over me about non factory --I'm not trying to impress nobody-- just trying to use up this mountain of extra I.H. parts I have in two sheds here. I know the gas blocks for H thru 350 are all interchangeable but was curious if anybody has tried a diesel in one. Th drive train and sheet metal are pretty good on the old H. The diesel motor is complete with pump and lines and manifold and the clutch housing. Or should I go on to dream about the next idea.? Migraine
