Sounds like you know what you"re doing. But I"ll take some guesses. You said you put in a smaller jet, then had to choke it a little to get it to run - how could it still be rich if you had to choke it? See what I mean? Why do you think it"s running rich - are the plugs fouling, or is it smoking, or ? Is is missing? Tell us more.... Larry
