Sounds like the clutch packs and the master clutch is slipping probably low or no pressure in the regulated circut. Need to do some pressure testing first. You have to split it twice basicly, You split it between the rear frame and the speed trans. and then remove the speed trans. thats where the odd and even is located and in the front half of the rear frame is the range trans. and that is where the master clutch is located. There was some updates on those tractor trans's that some didn't get(They called it FIX AS FAILED) and I think the updated parts are all that you can get and they are expensive. Theres about 50-60 hrs. shop labor and it takes some good stands to do that without removing the cab and several special tools are involved.
