Cruising down Main Street. Wow the memories. If a guy had a Chevy like that when I was in high school (late 50’s), he was the envy of the class. Most other guys had flathead Fords or 6 cylinder Chevys. This car probably has a 283 V8, which was a big engine back then, and only a couple of years since GM offered a V8 in a Chevy. To be really cool we would put on fender skirts, dual pipes, and lower the backend several inches. Oh, had to have a pair of dice hanging from the rearview mirror! Thanks for posting your picture.
