pulling the hydraulic levers half stroke causes the engine to labor, a hydraulics to buzz and the hydraulic lines at the pump to jump (hoses replace part of hardline). full stroke and it locks in, functioning normally. the fast hitch will lift the tractor at low idle. must be somewhere in the valve assembly. where do i look? need to replace the reservoir top gaskets yet, good time to check out valves. been an ongoing project this summer. first replaced the pump and intake screen. could say there wasn't one in there previously, it was that rotted. there were teflon chunks wound up in what was left of a screen. yay for case-ih techs about 15 yrs ago! recently replaced someone's patch job on the in and out pipes to the pump--they used hoses for some reason. it works so i just replaced the rotten hoses.
