Hi Flying 444, I don't think you have a filter problem. The hydraulic filter is located in the casting under the seat. When sitting on the seat beside your right leg on top of the transmission case are 2 hydraulic lines. The large one is the suction line. About 8" from the casting under the seat on the suction line is about 3" of hydraulic hose with 2 clamps on it. To clean the filter you have to drain the hydraulic oil or put rear wheels in a ditch so that front end is higher than rear wheels. Be sure to BLOCK REAR WHEELS. To drain the hydraulic, loosen above clamps on 3" piece of hydraulic hose and slide it forward or backwards to reveal the jiont in the suction pipe.
Now grasp the piece of suction pipe that goes to the seat casting and rotate it to clear the other pipe. To clean the filter grasp the same pipe and pull forward, the pipe and suction filter should come out of the casting. BECAREFUL not to damage the filter screen.

Re problem, my guess and this is only a guess that there is either a leak in the control valve to the 3pt cylinder or the position sensing system is messed up.
