Yes Sir, I hear ya there. Not enough hours in the day nor enough days in the year. :>( I really doubt if the transmission needs replaced, however, it is gonna take roughly $1K in parts alone for a guy to straighten out that chatter and get it to pull right. Given that the tractor is a gas model with a bad transmission, buyers are gonna knock it's value in the head the way it sets now because it is just not a functional tractor. Salvage value is what? Maybe $1500? The other side of the coin, if it was fixed up and dolled up properly, it could demand up to $7K from the right "urban cowboy" buyer. Dunno, hate to see one go the way of the torch, but looking at it from purely a money standpoint, maybe partin' 'er out is your only choice? Depends how much you have in 'er, I guess. Wished I lived closer to you. I'd let ya use my Hydro 70 while I danced thru your tranny for ya. Allan
