I've looked hard for a solid state regulator and can not find one. I found one company that sold them in the recent past, but they stopped for some reason. I went the 10si alternator route since they have a solid state regulator built into them, but my first chice would have been to replace just the old point style regulator. I just don't find equipmet with points to be as reliable as solid state equipment. Just my opnion.
