Arod, I assume when you say "tumble bug" you really are referrin' to a tumble plow? Like Wayne says, they work great if you can find the lathes and a blacksmith to keep 'em sharp. :>) Ya have to loop/figure 8 your turns to allow the plow to change directions, but it doesn't take long to get the hang of it.
