Granger: I'd recomend both. The original IH operator's manual will give you much of the day to day maintainence, adjustments, etc. while the IH-8 is a service manual, designed in helping the guy doing rebuilds, replacing components, etc. I have both for my tractors, and wouldn't want to be without either. For example that pump your dealing with currently, IH-8 would be the manual to have.
