Ha anyone here done their own alternator conversion on their Farmall? I have a Farmall 100 that's already set up with a pretty good alternator setup but it's a homemade affair and I need to replace the alternator itself. I was thinking of using one of the spare ones I have from one of my 1966 mustangs and I think that will work fine. The question is though, will the 6V voltage regulator hold up and if so where is it located on the tractor because it is escaping me. Certainley.....certainley this thing has one but aside from the lightswitch there is nothing else on my little console. Is it hiding under some part in some obscure loction? The wires from the alternator to the battery are chopped up so I can't trace them back. This is no problem but I just want to make sure that I'm not missing something here or am unaware about some little quirk about this charging system. Also, does anyone here have a used rebuildable carburetor for a Farmall 100 they would be interested in parting with???????? attached is a pic of my little puttering puppy in case you need to I.D. it. Thanks! Pat
