CN Actually my valve set-up sounds similar to yours - there are four long bolts that sandwich all the individual valves together. Anyway, my question to you: When you rebuilt your Hydra-Touch Control Valves, did you remove the valve assembly from the cast body and disassemble it? When I pulled the cast cover off of all of my valves, they were each a third full of thick sludge. I removed the valve assembly from the housing and cleaned everything. But I"ve not been able to get the slotted retainer off of the valve to disassemble it. I thought about cutting a notch in a drag link socket, but wonder if it"s worth the effort. I"m afraid of I "try" too hard I might damage something. Was curious what your experience was with them. Never tried the remote hydraulics but am planning on installing a 1701 loader so I wanted to make sure everything was working properly.
