Regular ever have a temp gauge?

I picked up a nice, brass, bolt on temp gauge(mounts like the oil pressure gauge). I think it would look really spiffy on the '27 with the matching oil gauge. Questions...did the Regular ever carry a temp gauge? if so where did it mount? If it did not, did the F-20? The number on the one I have is 37071D. Thanks, guys. Kevin
