I just got a 1949 farmall cub a few days ago, and I was greasing everything up. I put 90wt gear oil in the transmission, and then it starts leaking fluid really bad out of the hole on the underside of the axle. I have a picture of this hole, with the fluid pouring out of it. It did not leak before i put the gear oil in the gearbox. It leaks worse out of the left side, but the right side started leaking as well. Should I have filled it up with something other than the 90wt gear oil? Are there supposed to be plugs in those holes? Please help, thanks.
