I am in need of a distributer cap (or if you prefer mag/ dist. cap) for a Farmall B. Ordered a Westward (Cdn jobber) got one that will fit an H or two that I have, nowwhere deep enough for the B. Ordered one from CNH, closer but still not deep enough. Wife went to the city today with old one in hand (has IHC stamped on it). The nice 20 year old partsman told her that is definitely an oddball, but he could make a conversion for $ 400 Cdn. Luckily he was talking to my wife and not me. I have what I'm sure is the same cap on an A a C and this B and I think all are originals (with mag). Can anybody help me out with a part number??????? I know don't tell me I need a parts book. I'm also trying hard to get this B running for a parade in 10 days. (also hope to parade A, C, H, M, W4 and W6.
