OK Thanks for the replies. I will do some brazing, bending, and file work on this original assembly. My goal on this SMTA is a top of the line resto, that is in the hi dollar (9000+) category. Hope to have it done for DAKOTAFEST 2006 in Mitchell SD.But it will be in the "Restorod" category with extra chrome,(stack, Starter, generator, Oil bath, fan shroud,PTO guard) some flame paintwork, and some glitter steps and handles.
