In addition to what has been said in the two posts addressing this issue, There are pictures in the archives of H 4-5 trans gears with the dammage visible. Though it would be easier to see if there were good gears to compare it to. The fifth gear position on the shift pattern is 1.5-2 inches shorter than the first and third slots. My bet it is time for a front input shaft, and 4-5 slider! JimN Let us know!
