I don't know. I have 3 of those units, none have the holes, hard to imagine cast rusting through, or a defect in manufacturing either. Mine do have several places with Allen head screws in them, but you said pinholes. I suppose they can be welded. If they are not under much pressure, you can drain the reservoir, clean it up as best you can, and try JB Weld -- people have fixed engine blocks with it, but the hydraulics will have much more pressure. If Gene doesn't answer, ask again, he is usually around.
