Well finally got the Cub running. I had to order a new Zenith carburetor from this website. It was definitely not a direct bolt on. I had to modify the choke so that it would work with the choke lever and I had to add some washers to the mounting bolts. It seems to run decent, but nothing spectacular. If I pull the throttle all the way back it barely runs so i'll have to work on the throttle lever next time I get a chance. Also the tractor is very hard to start without using starting fluid. I'm thinking that maybe the carburetor is out of adjustment and that's what is causing it to have a hard time starting. In any case 1 down, 3 to go. The 706 just needs batteries, but $70+ each is a hard bite to swallow for a tractor that won't be used all that much. The B just has a weak spark and the Super C has a lot of problems (bad carb and clutch is stuck to the flywheel).

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
