Manual Steering:Play,leaks,and broken boxes.Wheels that wont turn equally and when used wobble and have a mind of their own. Power Steering:Does it work? Leaks.Leaks and spray up the column. TA:Lever on left of dash.Does it hold up under stress? Is the gearbox full of 80/90 or Hy Trans? Clutch:Slipping? Hard to depress? Shifter:Hard to move? Wont release from a preselected gear? (possible TA/Main clutch mis adjustment). Brakes:Working? Only one work? Are linings wet with trans lube? Bull pinion seal leaks? Parking brake lever still there? Radiator:Leaking? Overheating? They arent available new. Front Tires:Are they old pickup tires? Bald? Get some ribbed ones.They steer easier. Independent PTO:Does it work? Bands out of adjustment? Expensive fix. Hydraulic Pump: Leak fluid into engine? Noisy? Hard metal piping leaking,rusted? Expensive fixes. Hydra Touch Levers:Leaking? Sticking? Handles broken? Emblems:Are they Missing? None are available new.(but the IH nose emblem). Tach:Works? Cable missing? Drive in distributor base broken,missing? Water Pump: Leaking? Rebuilts are $300.
