Keith, the machine shop cut the plate with a plasma cutter so there wasn't a 3 inch circle when they were done. I have the technology and the material to make a circle out of thinner material, though. Thanks for the info. My wife and I saw one of the best rides ever at the relay races at the Round-up. A rider received the horse but didn't get all of the way into the saddle as the horse took off at a full gallop. That rider made the first half of the lap riding on the side of the horse with his leg over the saddle. The stadium was dead quiet until the guy finally made it into the saddle. The whole stadium then erupted into a standing ovation. Let-er-buck!!!
