What did you push against to install the pulley? Did you lay a bar across the pulley, or did you put a plate inside the pulley? Also, I lived in the Columbia Gorge for 17 years, just west of Hood River on the Washington side. My wife and I still go to the Pendleton Roundup occasionally.

Hey, any of you guys planning on being in Ridgefield, WA July 15 & 16 for the EDGE&TA national show? Ought to be a lot of fun. I will be there from southern Oregon along with some other club members.

Dan, we are going to try and make it, hopefully Shawn's SC will be finished before then. And I will have a 1948 Farmall Cub finished, all it needs is fenders done and a few other parts put back on.

I'm hoping to have my 36 F-12 and maybe my 37 as well. The 37 has a # 86 mounted plow on it. It has a cracked block that is leaking into the crankcase but hope to have it repaired by then.

See you there.

Dan

Chris, I used the cutout from the puller plate, 3inch round stock. I cut the 3 inch hole with a hole saw on my drill press, used chain saw bar oil as lube to keep saw from getting to hot. Any metel 1/4 to 1/2 thick should work fine. Would have been nice if you could've gotten the cut out.HTH

We use to race in the relay team at the Round-up in the early 90's also rode in the parade. Quit doing that about 10 years ago.

Keith, the machine shop cut the plate with a plasma cutter so there wasn't a 3 inch circle when they were done. I have the technology and the material to make a circle out of thinner material, though. Thanks for the info.
My wife and I saw one of the best rides ever at the relay races at the Round-up. A rider received the horse but didn't get all of the way into the saddle as the horse took off at a full gallop. That rider made the first half of the lap riding on the side of the horse with his leg over the saddle. The stadium was dead quiet until the guy finally made it into the saddle. The whole stadium then erupted into a standing ovation. Let-er-buck!!!
